Hi,
So im very new to electronics, and i purchased a NTSC/PAL (Television) TFT Display - 3.5" Diagonal
im powering it with a 8 x AA battery holder 12v power pack, both bought at adafruit.
I hooked the AV up to a micca spec G4 media player
But nothing happens, no lights no heat from the board, no power, nothing. I believe i wired the battery to the board correctly (red to red, black to black) but obviously im doing something wrong.
Ive posted a few photos. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

The power connection seems slightly dodgy, might want to try soldering those or use something like this: https://www.adafruit.com/product/677
Also, you have one of the audio connectors plugged in but this is just a display with two video inputs. Disconnect the audio cable and try the video cable in both inputs.
