PiTFT 320x240 2.8" and raspistill

Hi -
I am using the following:
PiTFT 320x240 2.8
Raspberry Pi3
Raspberry Pi Camera V2 module

I can get the console to display to the PiTFT. I cannot get raspistill to show a preview to the display.

I am having a very hard time following the DIY camera tutorial.

All the searching I been doing has left me even more confused.

Any help at all would be appreciated. If I could get the raspistill preview to come up on the PiTFT, I will feel very accomplished.
