TFP401 HDMI/DVI Decoder to 40-Pin TTL Breakout - Without Tou

Hi

One of our customers purchased TFP401 HDMI/DVI Decoder to 40-Pin TTL Breakout - Without Touch
He called us that this breakout get very hot after powerup and the screen is getting flickering.

Please check this movie clip and please let me know if this one is defective.

It's normal for the TFP401 to get warm. It has to process a lot of data, and that takes a lot of power.

What are they using as a power supply to the TFP401's USB input, and what voltage do they see on the TFP401's +5v pin?

Hi Mike,

He is using stable power (5V/2A, please check attached picture)
Also the voltage on +5 pin is measured as 5V.
