yah unclear! do you by chance have the packaging still that it came in? that might help - there should be a part # and maybe a revision code on there

Yes I still have the bag it came in. There's a sticker on it which says:

COM-12584 SF
RGB LED Panel - 32x32
Batch# 100946

COM-12584 SF means its from Sparkfun https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12584 not adafruit :)
they defintiely have customer support, and can help you out there

everytime i go to upload it to the arduino nano, i get

please contact the vendor you purxhased the nano from. this has nothing to do with the 32x32 led. thankx!
