16x24 red LED matrix not lighting
A 16x24 red LED matrix I purchased from an Adafruit distributor won't light. I've tried connecting it directly to my Arduino with jumper wires instead of the cable and it still won't light. I noticed that there's a ton of styrofoam on the back of the board, and I've tested that the board does, in fact, supply the right amount of power.

May be way too late here - but if you still have this and can, post photos showing the board and how you have it connected.
Weird. Who was the distributor you purchased this from?I noticed that there's a ton of styrofoam on the back of the board,
