pitft refresh

by darkmoon3d on Sat Feb 10, 2018 5:42 pm

Having trouble with pitft screen freezing or blanking out while running raspbian. Am using 2.2" pitft https://www.adafruit.com/product/2315 with pi zero w. Screen is set to dual screen with 2.2 and hdmi monitor. Using following fbcp code:
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
cd
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/adafruit/Raspberry-Pi-Installer-Scripts/master/pitft-fbcp.sh
sudo bash pitft-fbcp.sh

sudo reboot

sudo nano /boot/config.txt
device_tree=bcm2708-rpi-0-w.dtb
[all]
dtparam=spi=on
dtparam=i2c1=on
dtparam=i2c_arm=on
dtoverlay=pitft22,rotate=270,speed=80000000,fps=60
hdmi_cvt=640 480 60 1 0 0 0

Know that system hasn't crashed or rebooted due to 'lsusb' showing me mouse and keyboard are still shown plus scp hasn't crashed either.

Was looking at this https://github.com/JohSchneider/piboy-zero/blob/master/software/rpi-fbcp/fbcp.serviceand am wondering if running this at any time would refresh both screens?

Also am having problems with plymouth splash screen. Only shows for brief second at end of boot process rather than very beginning. Might doing a fbcp refresh fix this and solve both problems?
