This screen HDMI 7 800x480 Display Backpack without Touch came as part of The Virtual IoT Pack which I purchased on October 17, 2017.
When I plug the screen into the Raspberry Pi (both HDMI and USB), I get grey scrolling lines instead of the expected image of the raspbian desktop (which I do get when I use an other monitor).
Here are photos of the front and back of the screen as well as a video showing the grey lines.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide!
This 11 second video show the grey scrolling lines on the screen. https://youtu.be/lA2mnq_pjUY

Try going through this guide and see if it helps:

There are some settings you need to do to get it to display properly on the Pi. Also, see the FAQ which may cover your issue.

That worked! Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. Once I edited the boot/config.txt file and restarted everything worked like a dream. Have a great day!
