Just another newbie that needs help trying to follow the the instructions here https://learn.adafruit.com/connecting-a ... pi/testing to the letter with a pi 3 and I've checked the wiring 3 times and I am sure it is correct but when I get here Enable this line in the Makefile (it’s commented out by default):
Download file Copy Code
DEFINES+=-DRGB_CLASSIC_PINOUT
Save the changes to the file, then exit the editor and type...
Things fall off the rails i get an error saying I followed some older code, when I follow the newer instructions and go to directory examples-api-use and do the demo command I get nothing at all on my display ???
Can anyone offer me help so I can at least see if my 2 16x32 panels work ? Any help would be appreciated . Do I need to buy a HAT to get the display to work ?
