OLED Display Longevity
I purchased the 1.5" 128x128 OLED display for a clock project just over a year ago. Being a clock the display is on 24/7. After a year of use the display is horribly discolored. Many browned out pixels. Looks to me like the blue pixels might not be up to standard. Is this typical of OLED displays? I guess I should have used the color LCD version but to disassemble my project now would basically mean starting over. Very disappointed in this display :(

Re: OLED Display Longevity
Okay, so I decided to replace this display, since it's already half burnt out, with the 1.44" ST7735 TFT display. Since it's the same resolution as the OLED display, modifications were minimal to switch. However, one of the reasons I chose the OLED display in the first place was for the high contrast. In my project I really do not want to see anything lit other than the pixels. This TFT display looks good strait on but at any angle you can see the whole display backlit. I've played with the "lite" pin using analogWrite() and this does help but before I sign off with this display I'd like to ask the question if there is a contrast adjustment with these displays?
