Upside down

Post by hifi »

I decided to reinstall Raspbian and Adafruit drivers for 3.5" resistive TFT screen.
Before I had Adafruit specific disk image and rotate value in /boot/config.txt
was 90. Now when I run Adafruit script on top of Raspbian I had to specify
rotate 270 otherwise my Pygame program shows image in screen upside down.
I applied that trick for SDL 1.2 and Jessie.

So the question is - why I need to define 270 now? That effects touch events
in the program. They are flipped now as well.

Thanks!

The solution was to use 'stretch' instead of 'oldstable' in that installsdl.sh script mentioned here:

After that the touch coordinates are not flipped.
