Hi All,
I purchased a 64x32 matrix and the RGB+RTC hat, got it all wired up and while running the demos (on an RPi 3B), I was seeing extreme tearing in the top half of the matrix. I went ahead and purchased a pre-soldered bonnet as well in an attempt to diagnose the issue, and was seeing the same thing. I'm beginning to suspect an issue with the matrix itself, but if there's something I should have tried, I'd be delighted to know. Thanks!

With no response, should I assume that the matrix is defective? Ribbon? Both? In any case, I'd like to get it replaced.

I got it fixed - for anyone finding this with the same issue, it's related to the speed of the later RPi versions. Just set the --led-slowdown-gpio flag to 2.
