Hallo,
I would like to do a lot of room-lighting via NeoPixels arranged in varios lengths and angles, so i would like to have an easy way to connect them (cut off at a custom length e.g. for forming rectangles ).
What i am looking for is a Connector which i can easily slip on the end of one strip.
I see there are products with a 3-pin jst connector already mounted, but i would need those connectors to be added at wherever i cut the strip.
The jst's i found googling all dont seem to look like they would slip on the pixel-strips ?
Do you have any such product, or reference to one ?
Yours

Re: NeoPixel Connection
We have none but others may have found something that worked for them.

Re: NeoPixel Connection
Sorry to hear that, guess they would be very nice to have for all neopixel users, which cut their stripes part.
Please consider to stock them.
I had to get mine from shiji Lighting

Re: NeoPixel Connection
I use 3.5 mm stereo headphone jacks/plugs.
Tip - 5V,
Middle ring - data,
Case ring - gnd.
Male for "in"
Female for "out"
This way you can set things up to plug into your controller. Works a treat, easy to get connectors. Try wireing them up with 20 AWG wires. That size seems to fit the connectors best. 18 AWG fits, sort of but it can be rough.

Re: NeoPixel Connection
The "controller" end is not what I am worriyng about, i simply dont want to solder 50+ strip-ends to wires,
with the connector mentioned i am rid of this problem.
On the loose end side, i only connect through tha data line ( mini banana plug ) and add seperate power lines every meter or so, as recommended.
