1.8" SPI TFT display, 160x128 ribbon cable [ID:618]

I found the pinout for the ribbon cable. Thanks! Is there perhaps a recommended connector that would mate with it? I was initially thinking of soldering right to the cable, but that's nonsense... :) Thanks!

Also, I'm a little confused on the LED power. pins A & K are shown broken out on the cable, but also in-line. Is that correct? Additionally the data sheet says 3.0v for the LEDA line. IS that max for the backlight? Google translate won't convert the embedded images in the spec sheet for the power table...

Greetings Adafruit! Can someone take a moment at review my request? thanks! I've purchased a few of these displays from your store and want to get them working soon.

These are typically soldered directly to pads and then the ribbon cable is folded back so the display sits on stop.

This is not the same display, but you can see a similar soldering attachment being done on the back of the Pi OLED Bonnet:

[EDIT] Just remembered we have some related products that might be useful:

The backlight is simply a couple of LEDs. The A and K pins on the ribbon cable are connected to them like this:

I'm guessing the 3.0V is the forward voltage. Unfortunately I'm not seeing any max current. :(

I believe I've figured out the requirements from looking at the schematic of the TFT display that is mounted to a board [PID:358] so I'm good from a circuit aspect.

However, I'd like to point out that one of the recommended break out boards does NOT work for this display. The PID:1325 is NOT compatible. I purchased two of those based on the recommendation, and because they fit the form factor I was seeking, only to discover the display required 0.8mm spacing, so the 0.5mm nor the 1.0mm work.

Hopefully this message saves someone the *oops* of purchasing the wrong one. The PID:1436 is the correct adapter/break out board for this display. Heck it's even shown in the photos now that I look more closely.

Oops. Sorry about that. Wasn't sure which one was correct, so was just point to all the options.
