I'm working on a game project with my son using a Raspberry Pi Model 3 B. The game is controlled via arcade buttons (we've already got them working fine, have a few weeks to deal with debouncing). The next thing we need to add is control of LED strips. What we'd like to get working is 3 sets of strips, 1 running horizontally (say 2 feet long or so) and two other strips (one above each set of buttons on our custom controller box) of 6-9". I'm not sure the sizes of each is important to my question. We want all LEDs to be individually controlled and with full RGB support.
What are my options from Adafruit? I've seen a lot of information on this site and others which has me extremely confused. Price is not a concern (but I'd rather not spend $500).
Thanks for any help and information.
