10.1" Display 1280x800 IPS (1287) not powering up

by msandfordcu on Thu Jun 13, 2019 4:18 pm

Just received the kit (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1287). I connected everything per the guide, but the screen does not appear to power on at all--no back light or anything. The led near the power button flashes red.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's been over a week with no reply. Should I email support@adafruit.com?

@rpelligreno: Please start a new thread for your issue. Trying to debug more than one set of hardware in a thread is just asking for confusion.

@msandfordcu: Just to check, what are you using as a power supply?

That makes it easy.. we've used that supply for that display, and know they should work together.

Send a note containing a link to this page and your order number to support@adafruit.com. The folks there will get you a new display, and arrange return shipping for the one you have now.
