I have set up my Teensy 3.2 with the RA8875 wired exactly as shown on the ra8875-touch-display-driver-board instructions under “Arduino Wiring” together with the ADS1015 wired exactly as shown on the assembly-and-wiring instructions under “I2C Addressing.” I have run both the RA8875 buildtest and the ADS singleended programs on the combined set up and they run perfectly. I then wrote a program for the combined set up using both the RA8875 and the ADS1015 at the same time. The program crashes at the first “adc0 = ads.readADC_SingleEnded(0);” read statement.

Is there some interference between the I2C used by the ADS1015 and the SPI used by the RA8875 in this set up that I don’t know about? I am not an electrical engineer and it would not be obvious to me.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update.

So, wrote a short program that incorporates both the RA8875 and the ADS1015 for a test without the bulk of my project code. Everything worked fine together.

The problem must be in my program code, a problem I can handle. Thanks to all.
