64x64 SmartLED matrix design differs from pics, won't fit Te

Hello, I recently purchased the 64x64 SmartLED panel and the SmartLED Teensy Shield, but I have discovered that I am unable to use them together due to what appears to be a manufacturing change to the LED panel.

Compared to the pics of the 'original' at https://www.adafruit.com/product/1902, the panel I received has its DIN and power connectors oriented in such a way that the shield covers the power pins when plugged in. There is also a difference in the plastic frame design around the panel - the one I received has crossbars that also prevent the fitment of the Teensy shield.

Is there an updated shield, or a way I could get the original version of the panel? I bought these parts only to use together and would like to return both if there's not a relatively straightforward path like the product page shows.

ooof - all are stock is going to be the same - we dont have much control over what the panels end up being. the best suggestion we have is to desolder/cut off the power connector from the panel and then run the two power wires by hand. not elegant but should work! we'll update the product copy and photo as well. if you cant use them, email support@adafruit for a return label and refund
