iPhone LED connector & Arduino

by Tbagger on Wed Nov 27, 2019 10:14 pm

Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster.

I have been searching for a way to use old broken iPhone screens (LCD still working) using an Arduino as a shield. There is a fair bit of info out there, but the key missing part I cannot find is the breakout chip that converts the input to the iPhones Dsi. Any help would be appreciated.

Ideal situation would be [Raspberry Pi] HDMI out > [Arduino Shield] HDMI in > Dsi out > [iPhone or similar] > Dsi LCD connector.

This is for an art project hence the use of broken screens.

Thanks!!

Stephen
