Looking to use this for a camera lighting ring, is there anything brighter? If not, I will start experimenting with this one. Thanks!

One of the RGBW rings might be a little brighter:
https://www.adafruit.com/category/184
since it has an additional LED for the white (W) channel. Checkout these projects which use NeoPixels for camera lighting:

Keep in mind that you will need to also have a microcontroller running code to drive the NeoPixels.

There is also this:

which is a simple LED and just needs power.

Perfect! As long as they are the same control signals as the RGB? The website for the controller I am using ( Drone Flight Controller ) references your WS2812 document. Does the RGBW use a different spec? Thanks

The RGB and RGBW use the same basic signal, but the RGBW's expect extra data for each pixel for the W. So you can't just plug RGBW's into something designed for RGB's and expect them to work. Your Drone Flight Controller would need to have support for RGBW's.
