64x64 LED RGB Matrix - Enough Amperes

Hi, I’m pretty new to electronics and raspberry pi, so you’ll have to excuse me if this is a very basic question.

But I’m looking to buy 2 of these https://www.adafruit.com/product/2277

And chaining them together to get a 64x64 display.
In the description, it says that one of these pulls around 4A.
Does that mean I have to find a power source that can effective push out 5V 8A to make the 2 Matrixes work together? Or are the 4Amps split between the displays?

Any help would be appreciated.

In general, that is correct. Power demand simply adds up per each display. However, see here for more details about how to budget for power:
