Panel Current Meter - 0 to 9.99A[ID:574]

Hi there.

I’m having an issue with the current panel, even though I tried adjusting the pot it is inaccurate.
It is reporting a current value that is ~2-4mA less than the actual current being measured.

Measuring 0.038A is displayed as 0.01A
Measuring 0.200A is displayed as 0.18A

See the current reported on channel 1 (yellow), this is also confirmed via an attached Fluke.

What can we do about this?

Thanks mike.

Similarly, here there is 200mA passing but it can only report a max of 180mA. The pot loops around to a lowest setting of 120mA. 180mA is the max pot setting.

Sorry for the delay.

That meter isn't terribly accurate.. it's rated to within 4%, improving for current levels higher than 2A. If it doesn't meet your requirements, we can arrange a refund.

Send a note containing a link to this page and your order number to support@adafruit.com. The folks there will help you.
