3,5' Display with Nucleo board

by Raybakk on Tue Aug 11, 2020 6:14 pm

Hi there. :-)

I see a lot of tutorials for using the display with Arduino:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/2050

However, what must I do to use this cool display with a Nucleo-board from ST?
I am using a STM32F030R8 board.

Does the Nucleo have code for the display? Or do you want information on connecting it?

Well, connection should be easy.
So my problem is on the code side.

I think I heard/read that the code for Arduino is easily portable to any uC's. We only need to consider the lower level functions (hardware near).
So I guess what I need help for is examples for the lower level functions.
I guess if I got some decriptions on requirements for the lower level functions (for serial use) I could program one of the SPI's to function accordingly

regards,
Raymond

ST probably already has an ILI934x driver somewhere, poke around their forums/support site!
