Hello, I'm writing because I'm currently having an issue with the PiOLED product.

After getting the drivers installed according to:

https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pio ... pberry-pi/

When I attempt to render the stats.py info:

https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_Ci ... 6_stats.py

I can't get the full display to render. However, I started wiggling the connector I would notice a few lines flicker on and off. I pressed the display lightly and more lines render. It appears to be an issue with the ribbon from what I can tell...

Any ideas? Attached are some photos of what renders.

The pictures display a few lines rendering when I lightly press on the ribbon cable. However I've never gotten the full display to render.

Weird. Can you post a photo of the backside of the OLED so we can look for anything obvious with the hardware. A photo similar to this:

Thanks. The solder side looks OK. Maybe some damage to the upper part of the ribbon cable? But not sure. Is this a new OLED, or has it been in use?

Hello, its new from order:

I don't have the sticky tape over the led though, I removed that and it somehow disappeared.

OK. Not sure what's happening. But seems like some kind of marginal connection issue. Let's just replace it.

Send an email to support@adafruit.com with a link to this thread (order number is above) and they can send you a replacement PiOLED.
