Neopixel library compatibility

by jt27 on Thu Nov 12, 2020 1:38 am

I'm looking to drive the 60 neopixel LED ring that Adafruit is selling with the simplest Arduino that can do the job. Eventually I may want to integrate the arduino hardware onto my own custom board, so ideally I'd use a microcontroller that I can hand solder to a board. I'm looking at the Nano or the Nano Every, but want to make sure that I'm not going to run into any compatibility issues if I want to use the neopixel libraries provided by Adafruit. Has anyone successfully used these libraries with either of these boards? Any other suggestions for which Arduino boards I might want to consider using?

are you just running the 60 neopixels? or do you have other add-on's like motion sensor, wifi, etc..?

fastLED and adafruit neopixel libs work fine with the nano....

if you need something small, check out : trinket M0...a mini powerhouse....
