Library.function question

by pauloscheidegger on Thu Nov 12, 2020 1:01 pm

This is my first post in this forum, so please be kind to my lack of knowledge.
I use Arduino IDE an was able to configure and print some messages to my Nokia 5110 display using:
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
#include <Adafruit_GFX.h>
#include <Adafruit_PCD8544.h>
//Adafruit_PCD8544(SCLK, DIN, DC, CE, RST); declare LCD
Adafruit_PCD8544 lcd = Adafruit_PCD8544(3, 4, 5, 7, 6);
void setup() {

It worked just fine, but I wonder what other facilities beyond .setContrast(), .clearDisplay() and .setTextSize() this library offers. Is there some place where I could find all members of the class Adafruit_PCD8544?
Please forgive me for such a basic question, but I combed so many forums and sites looking for answers I am loosing my faith... I am 69 and learned coding on a big perf card mainframe with lots of printed manuals where we could find anything. Today is a bit different and often I get lost.

Sometimes it is best to go to the source. The library for the PCD8544 has some more functions: ... CD8544.cpp

Since you are using the Adafruit GFX you probably want to check the docs on that and the library source: ... g_f_x.html ... it_GFX.cpp
