We have 5 of these once we plug it in to the USB port the screen turns red. Typically the screen is blue and depicts HDMI. The only differences I see is P1933 A and P1933B along with C8633-001 vs -002.
The carton packing has changed to a more square box, we swapped the displays and the displays work. There seem to be an issue with the main PCBA. Is it new FW? The -002 "B" displays the red screen. We must fail these units for FA unless otherwise instructed. I appreciate any support you can provide to resolve the "red" screen.

Does the display work OK? The only issue is the power on behavior?

Re: Red Screen vs Blue with HDMI depicted
Unfortunately, no. The unit is locked with the red screen. None of the buttons have functionality either. The -001 work fine. (blue screen w/ HDMI displayed) We are line down and need an immediate resolution. 803-543-6094

We confirmed it is the control PCBA. Can we flash FW here?

hihi these are very difficult to program without the right hardware dongle - its best if we replace the stock you have and you can RMA what isnt working
email support@adafruit with a link to this thread to get 5 x PID 1933's sent to you, and ask for "RMA FORPHIL" for the ones you can send back.

Thanks for the quick response.
We procured these from Arrow. We will discuss this with Arrow on returns, etc. Hope this does not delay the process.
Is there any inventory anywhere of the -001?

Re: Red Screen vs Blue with HDMI depicted
you can return directly to adafruit for RMA, it will be easier and faster
we only have the stock we've got, which we verified is correct & it should be equivalent.

Re: Red Screen vs Blue with HDMI depicted
hi we simply do not have 30 in stock. please RMA the 5 pieces we discussed last week, we can send 5 replacements immediately from stock. We will investigate the 5 that we get back so please make sure to ship them ASAP. If they are repairable we can take the 117 remaining to repair and re-ship. However, DO NOT return the 117 yet. We need to verify the fix first
