It seems that my HDMI 4 Pi touch screen (product 2109) is defective.
I tested it out when I first got it, and it was a little finicky to get it to show a screen. But I eventually did get a picture so i figured it was okay. I let it sit for a few months until picking the project up this weekend...
Now, I can't get it to have any output on the display, even though the green power LED is on, and even the little red indicator on the small touchscreen board blinks when I touch the screen. I press all the buttons but nothing seems to wake it up!
I tried different HDMI cords, and the device (raspberry pi) works with a different screen with the same cord.
Thankfully, i'm in the 6 month window of allowable return time. However I see you're out of stock currently. Can I just send it back for a refund, and then re-order a replacement from digikey? Or is there some other solution?
