Pyportal Titano showing white screen

by jasonthenderson on Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:45 am

Just ordered a Titano and I loaded the stock Arduino sketch pyportal_arcada_test and I am getting a full white screen when I run the sketch. I can see that the code is running via the serial log output (I see the following traces in a loop:
temp sensor: -0.01
STEMMA: 0.2, 0.2

and once in a great while when I unplug and replug the board back into the USB-C cable I actually get the screen to show the expected output for a brief bit, but then see a bunch of flickering on the screen and weird digital artifacts as if there is some issue with a connector to the TFT.

Any ideas what I should do?

Sigh, I found it in the docs - the connector wasn't all the way seated when it arrived. Spent far too much time trying to figure out what was going on, but at least it is fixed now.

I'm glad you found a solution. Sorry about the time you put into it.
