32x64 LED Matrix - one section blinks incorrectly

by Nancy4c on Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:16 pm

I'm attempting to run the "Creature Eyes" project on my new 32x64 5mm LED matrix using the Matrix Portal M4. 75% of the screen is working properly but one corner is flickering and displaying incorrect colors. I've tried multiple .bmp "eye" types and the same corner keeps malfunctioning. Any advice? The "bad" section is approximately 16x46 on the top left side.

Thanks!

Can you try other demos to see if the problem is independent of code.

I ran another demo and the same corner of the matrix is acting funky. That area displays the wrong color and flickers.

just whats your power supply? if its either too high or too low that could cause some issue. if not we can replace the matrix!

Hi!
When I took the pictures, it was plugged into my laptop. I got similar results when I plugged it into the outlet I use to power my iPhone.
