LED Matrix Powered on 5.1V

Post by jakemadian »

Hello!

I have a project using 3x 64x32 LED Matrices and they're being driven by an RPI 4. I'd like to build a common distribution HUB which would require to either run the panels at 5.1V (RPI required voltage) or the RPI at 5V even.

Can these panels support 5.1V?

Thanks.

5.1v should be no problem. The recommended supply is rated at ~5v. Most adafruit supplies are usually tuned to 5.2v.
