Hi,
I am using Arduino MKR NB 1500 with the 1.33" displayhttps://www.adafruit.com/product/4313. I am using 2 batteries to power the Arduino. one which is connected to the Arduino which gives it 5V via USB and another backup battery which is connected via the JST connector. When the main battery is connected, the display is on and the Arduino is doing its functionalities. But when main battery dies, the Arduino continues to run with minimal functionality. I want to turn off the display when the Arduino is running on the secondary battery. Is there a way I could turn off the display using the code?

You can use the Lite pin to control the backlight:

That's the only available power control. If you want to fully unpower the display, you'll need to add additional hardware to control power going to Vin.
