Hey all,
I dusted off my MONSTER M4SK with the plans of making a new prop for the upcoming renaissance festival, however the board appears to be unresponsive. I plug it in windows does not appear to see a COM device or a storage device. The device itself has a single red light on when it powers on.
Suggestions?

Double and triple check the USB cable to make sure it is not charge only.
Then, with a known good USB cable, try double pressing the reset button to see if you can get the BOOT folder to show up.

No beans, using a known good cable, still unresponsive.
double tap reset is not working. The red light does go off while reset button is in pressed position, and remains off if I hold reset, but returns to the same state upon release.
Here's some eyes on the situation:

Re: MONSTER M4SK not responding
I'm equipped to do some voltage probing if need be.
Other possibly useful troubleshooting info:
-turns off when switch is flipped off (red light goes off)
-I observe 3.3v on the 3.3v regulated output and 5.0v on the 5v output

Slower on the repeated attempts. Double press then wait a bit.
But also, looks like the red LED is blinking indicating USB issue.

Re: MONSTER M4SK not responding
Thanks, I've tried this.
Still no beans.
If you need me to prove it, I can take a video and show the same cable working with another product, and I can try any number of delay between presses - but please trust me I've done this many times - it's not the cable - and I'm 99% sure it's not my button-press duration. I was mainly showing you that in the video to demonstrate that I was trying a wide range of press durations.
I have an oscilloscope if you want me to test that I'm getting data on the USB, however, I know the cable works with my other products, so in my semi-professional opinion, it's got to be the MONSTR M4SK at this point, since I know my cable is good - and I do the double tap reset to get into the UF2 bootloader all the time...
Next step please,
Thanks!

OK. Probably not as simple as just the cable. No need to try scoping things. It was originally working. Do you remember what the last code that was successfully uploaded to the board was?
