Using the Induction Ring

Post by Richard10640 »

Hello - awaiting delivery of 4 large induction rings with LEDs to make a LEGO light up rig for my grand daughter. Sorry if the answer to this question is in the package.
I have seen your suggestion to make a base and a back board so that a LEGO assembly (say a house) can have lit LEDs positioned inside. My question is how many rings can
be connected to the power supply (Adjustable Power Supply w/ 2.1mm / 5.5mm DC - 3V to 24V at 2 Amp) ? I assume that one can easily wire two or more so that you have two bases plus two backboards but not sure of the inductive load on the power supply. Thanks for any suggestions.

You will be pretty closed to maxed out with 4 x 10W rings on a 48W power supply. Our guide shows two rings being used by utilizing the DC power splitters.
