I have the 7" HDMI touchscreen with e backpack and AR1100 chip. The calibration is off, as I cannot target the top of the screen.
I followed the steps here to calibrate (https://learn.adafruit.com/ar1100-resis ... ation-2-23) .
I was able to download the software, and start the calibration tool. But I keep getting communication errors. I am connected via USB. When I plug in the device, it is recognized in the transaction console in the Microchip AR configuration utility. But whenever I try to run the calibration routine, it throws an error and does not go into calibration mode. Any help of thought appreciated.

Are you calibrating as a primary or secondary monitor?
Have you tried skipping the calibration and going into expert mode? Then selectino Options Ar1100 Mouse and Verify Communication.
