Adafruit 0.56" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display w/I2C Backpack - Gr

Post by GRB_com »

Hello,
I had bought a Adafruit 0.56" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display w/I2C Backpack - Green, part number 880 and the second digit is not working properly.
Connections are ok and the sketch used is from Adafruit LED backpack library with no changes.
I tested the code + wires etc with an other display and everything works as it should.
Please see attached files for more.

Order number is : 2503775-9897330286
Part number is : 880

Thanks in advance

My first step would be to go over all the soldering you did ... just touching the iron to them to remelt/reflow the solder. In my experience that will often do the job.

It would seem to be a bad chip then.

Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one Adafruit 0.56" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display w/ I2C Backpack - Green - STEMMA QT / qwiic.
