Hello!
I just purchased this display together with the RA8875 from a German dealer.
I connected everything to my Arduino Mega according to the information on your website (brilliant thing by the way) and ran the first test script.
Unfortunately, half of the screen is filled with vertical lines (see image).
So, I checked all wiring (including the 40 pin connection to the driver board) and repeated the tests - same result.
What am I doing wrong?
Kind regards
Frank

Frank,
What is the Adafruit part# of the display you are using?
This is from the comments in the textmode.ino which I believe you are running.

The RA8875 is a TFT driver for up to 800x480 dotclock'd displays
It is tested to work with displays in the Adafruit shop. Other displays
may need timing adjustments and are not guanteed to work.
