Greetings.
Just hooked-up the 1.2" 7-Segment (yellow) and uploaded the sevenseg.ino to an original Uno per instructions.
It ran the demo beautifully! For about three minutes and then I noticed the high-speed timer freezing for a second or two, then a second or five, then it just quit.
I re-uploaded the sketch, no glow. I switched to another Uno, still no display.
I was powering the Uno from USB on a Mac Pro laptop, the display powered via the 5v pin on the Arduino per

...using the Classic example.
It was trucking along great on my work table here until I noticed number freezing, then catching up with the timing, then freezing, then nothing.
But now that the ambient light is reduced in my workroom, I notice three of the dots faintly illuminated. (see photo attached)
Thank You

(update) Seems to have been a bad socket on BOTH Arduinos. So disregard and I'll try to delete these posts now.

One of the pins is not connected. The twisting of the wires together may not be providing adequate connection.

mootzeroni,
What program did you run to test out your display. You mentioned sevenseg.ino.
Where can I find it. I am having a similar problem as I can't get mine to light up.
Thanks for your help, Dave
