2.8" TFT - CAPACITIVE or RESISTIVE?

Post by Flat4BRM »

Hello all -

I'm re-installing a 2.8" TFT on an older RPi that I've had kicking round for a while, and I was wondering if there was a tell-tale way of determining of my screen is the capacitive model, or the resistive model.

I have the screen installed in a PIMORONI PiTFT box already, and even though it isn't difficult to break the box apart, I'd prefer not to, as the install is super clean.

Only reason I'm asking is that so that I can install the proper commands whilst setting up the RPi / TFT.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
