I was wondering about the digitally addressable RGB strips that you carried - how good is their PWM quality? If I was to run code similar to the "breathing" effect found on your cufflinks (which are amazing, kudos) but with different colors, would it be jittery or would it run smoothly? I want to buy them, but don't want to buy 5 meters worth and then realize that they don't work smoothly.
Cheers!

its not as smooth for a long strip because it doesnt have pwm built in
we will soon have pwm led strip, but there is no ETA right now. subscribe to the blog to get notified!

Do you have any sense of how soon those will show up? I know you said you have no ETA for them, but is it a couple of months or a year from now?
And what if I used a super fast processor, like a BeagleBoard to do the software PWM?

BB arent usually good at this sort of thing, we are hoping we have the new strips made by the factory and delivered within 1 month but there are always unexpected delays
