Hi I'm currently trying to get these
https://www.adafruit.com/products/322
working with Raspberry Pi running Occidentalis. Only the first LED is lighting up and the color seems random.
I have it wired as descriped here: http://learn.adafruit.com/assets/1589
and am trying to access it with a customized Version of this: http://learn.adafruit.com/light-paintin ... i/software
and also tried that: http://thegreatgeekery.blogspot.de/2012 ... s2801.html
No Errors or warnings as far as I can see, are there any Logfiles I could check?
I'm running out of ideas on how to debug this Problem, any suggestions?
(oh and of course I'm running the scripts as root)

That wiring diagram is for a different kind of LED strip. Please have a look at this page for a guide to wiring the 12mm bullet pixels:Mostley wrote:I have it wired as descriped here: http://learn.adafruit.com/assets/1589
