I am hoping to create a cosplay prop with both an on/off switch and a recharge port for the Li Ion battery pack. I'm very new to electronics (and my HS science days are more than a decade past) so I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how to connect the battery while still allowing it to be recharged. I want to use the 2200mAh 3.7v, mostly for size/shape purposes. (The prop is a lightsaber, fwiw.) I don't believe I will need an Arduino or other micro processor, since it will just be On or Off, and the color will come from the LEDs themselves.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good circuit diagram for this? My google-fu is failing me.
Circuit w/ switch and recharge port (Li Ion battery)

Re: Circuit w/ switch and recharge port (Li Ion battery)
If your circuit works with the battery and LEDs now all you should need is to add the charger to the battery and a switch between the battery and the LEDs.
