Wearable Flora Display

by Livopobot on Wed Aug 01, 2018 9:26 am

Is there any hope of getting a small tft (like Adafruit 3787) display as a wearable component in the FLORA universe? I can hack a tft display from you to make it work, but I would love one that has the sewable pads and whatnot. I am hoping to put it on the underside of a hook and loop fastened patch that is sewn to a uniform. On the area that the uniform patch is covering, I want to sew the conductive fabric as a "mouse pad" and buttons to wire into the FLORA and sensors and so on. So the patch flips up showing the display and the wearer uses the conductive material to input with the captouch library. Makes sense?

no plans for one, we recommend an i2c oled, since you need fewer pins
