Is this compatible with Windows Enterprise? My county has purchased and the drivers for Windows are not working on my lab computers. We are using Google Chrome browser.
Please help, we are wanting to get started!

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
What exactly are the problems you have encountered? Circuit Playground communicates through Windows drivers and they should work with all versions of Windows that need them. What version of Enterprise are you running?

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
When we try to "test" the circuit board in Code.org it shows it is not connected. My computer tech is also helping me. He also installed the drivers with no problem.

Does Windows see a USB device when plugged in?

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
It shows the device is ready to use, but in Code.org, it says to make sure the board is plugged in. We have tried different board and usb and plug ins.

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
I am working with Code.org also. We did conclude that we are to be using the program on the machine and NOT the website code.org. My tech installed the 3 drivers, but the program Code Maker is not appearing in the PROGRAMS.

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
We have added all drivers, we have dowloaded the Code Maker app and followed all troubleshooting directions. When we run the test, it still does not show to be working in the Code.org lesson. The lights are all flashing and the device is working. I am also communicating with Code.org with no success. This has been going on for a week and I would like to use the product!

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
What version of Windows, 7 or 10?
What is the exact filename and version of the driver package you are installing?
Are these Circuit Playground Express or "classic" Circuit Playground boards? Is the word "Express" printed on the back?

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
I have Windows Enterprise.
I am using the files from the directions in Code.org for Windows and the link to the Adafruit drivers. (see below).

We have the CLASSIC boards.
Thank you!

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
Thanks. Both Windows 7 and Windows 10 have Enterprise editions. Is your Start button (lower left corner) round or square? Round is Windows 7, square is Windows 10.

Re: Circuit Playground Compatibility
Hi, it appears the latest drivers package does not work correctly with Circuit Playground Classic. I was able to duplicate this problem with the 2.3.1 drivers package.
Please uninstall all the Adafruit drivers in "Uninstall Programs", which will look something like this:
Then install this older version of the drivers package: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_Wi ... .2.0.0.exe
You only need to check the first box in the installation dialog: you can uncheck the other two.
Let us know if that works. Sorry for the trouble. We'll fix the drivers package soon after we vet the fix.
