Hi, I'm Daniel . I design and create a device for high temperature (1650 Celsius degree) reading and displaying using Adafruit Universal Thermocouple Amplifier MAX31856 Breakout (Product ID: 3263), Arduino Uno, TM1637 display and thermocouple type "S". Everything was fine, the adafruit max31856 works more than satisfactory, till last week when a fault UV/OV appear on display randomly. I change the thermocouple, mesure all the voltages involved in boards supplying, change the battery and nothings happen, still randomly more often appear " UV/OV fault ". In Your opinion, except the maximintegrated documentation, which is the cause? Can I do something to avoid this fault?

What is the thermocouple being used to measure? Make sure that the tip or any exposed thermocouple wire does not come into contact with anything that might have a charge on it.
