I have been focusing on Raspberry Pi and Arduino computers for educating middle school students. However, I also teach college students. I cannot figure out some of the basic questions about the "New" Particle board that I'm seeing.
One of the worst problems is that the term "Particle" already has so many other meanings it is hard to search the internet for. So, I came here.
Why would I use a Particle board instead of an Arduino Trinket?
What does a Particle board have that I cannot get on an Arduino Trinket?
Is a Particle board similar to a Huzzah?
If one were to program a Particle Board, what IDE does one use?
Thanks for any insights you all can provide.

Thought I'd try a search for "Particle" and this was the first hit (after the dictionary definition page). https://www.particle.io/

@Franklin,
Thanks. I think I need an unbiased description from a third party. Perhaps one of the Make Magazine forums would have some help.
