Hi-I am requesting information on how to either replace or fix my Adafruit Circuit Playground Classic. It worked for 3 days and now it will not do anything. The green light turns on and that is it. I just started using these on May 14, 2018 and it stopped working on May 17, 2018. My order # 1665782-2265913210. Is there something I can do to fix it myself or can it be replaced?
Thank you.

Can you provide more info on what you mean by nothing? When you plug the board in, does your computer see it at all? What computer/OS are you running on? What was the last thing you did that worked?

We have PC desktop computers and the code.org app maker the circuit is no longer recognized not allowing students to use it.

No rainbow lights no noise. Just the green light.

if you click the small reset button in the center, does anything happen with the small red LED?

Re: Adafruit Circuit Playground Classic Not Working
We are careful with them and I am not sure how it got destroyed. I have 24 students and teach 6 classes of computer science. They will be re-used over and over. There are 16 lessons in Unit 6 that use the circuits. If they should not be used this way can this be something that Code.org can be made aware of and let teachers know? I don't know how it was destroyed. There is no physical damage on it. I will send an email.
Thank you.

its really hard to know what happened, but its also very rare. sometimes students aren't willing to tell us what they did "it just stopped working" :) so its difficult to know!

Re: Adafruit Circuit Playground Classic Not Working
I have had some of the smaller processors somehow (please don't ask me how) ruin the boot-loader. I was able to re-load the boot-loader using a procedure that was documented in the learn.adafruit pages... This might be a similar circumstance.
Another thing to watch out for is updates to the libraries which can cause your computer to stop compiling things correctly for the Circuit Playground. I just posted a list of issues with older versions of Macintosh OS X, and library complications.
