using Raspberry pi in a lab

by BaalZvuv on Wed Jun 13, 2018 3:05 am

Hello,
I want to teach my students to use a rapberry pi for projects.
The only problem is that the Pi GPIO is extremely sensitive and every small mistake (i.e. short circuit or inserting +5V by mistake) could easily damage the pi.
I'm looking for something like a T expansion board only with protective circuits that will turn the Pi to be student-proof.
In my home I have the Piface working with old Pi but it's a bit too much and I understand the the SPI is incompatible with the raspberry pi 3.
I wonder if you have a product that will help me .
Thanks,
BaalZvuv
