One Feather Huzzah Causing Problems

by bridge2nowhere on Fri May 24, 2019 1:27 pm

We are setting up a broadcast network across several feather huzzahs using udp.

I have two clients (LED1, LED2) and one host (HOST) all working well.

I have one feather that refuses to connect. No matter what version of the client code (the only difference is IP address) I use it doesn't connect. The code works on the other two.

The "Blink" example works, and I'm not sure how to get to the bottom of a hardware issue.

If you've tried the same code on all three, and it works on two out of the three, that sounds suspicious. Is there anything connected to these boards, like headers or other boards? When did you buy these HUZZAH's?

I did solder pin headers on but I checked all the solder joins carefully, and I didn't see anything there.

We did put a working NeoPixl Backpack on it since we assumed it would be working fine. We have tried it with and without the backpack, and have tried swapping backpacks around.

We bought the boards in the past couple weeks..

Please send an email to support@adafruit.com with a pointer to this thread, saying a replacement has been authorized. Include your order number, and they'll see you get a new board.
