I am preparing a high school workshop using propeller 2 and adafruit neopixels.
The flexible 1 meter Neopixel requires 12 volts. My power supplies put out 13.8 volt is that within the electrical specs ?
Also how many do I code number of LED and pixels?
Thank you in advance.

Neopixels do not use 12V. Do you mean something like this? https://www.adafruit.com/product/3865?g ... CMQAvD_BwE

Yes I have that 1 meter flex and wonder how to program in in propeller. Also we have a few 8 sticks and two neo rings.franklin97355 wrote:Neopixels do not use 12V. Do you mean something like this? https://www.adafruit.com/product/3865?g ... CMQAvD_BwE

That is not a Neopixel, rather a RGB LED strip. I'm not sure how to program the neopixels (I have been away from propeller for a long time) but they have a forum you can ask. https://forums.parallax.com/

One of the neopixel sticks I bought fro adafruit the solder pads came off an is useless vert thin cladding in the board, I learned my lesson. What is best way to bread board the neo rings?
