Any Adafruit products designed in KiCAD?

Post by itisishan »

Hi there,

I see many of your products are designed in Eagle, and have the design files available, for example the Feather line of products. For educational purposes, I wanted to know if you had any open source products designed in KiCAD with the files similarly available or plan to use KiCAD for any future products? I can use these designs to guide students through the PCB design process. While Autodesk has allowed a hobbyist/educational use of Eagle in a limited capacity now, I think the students will benefit on learning on an open source EDA for longevity.

If not, I will go ahead and convert one of the open source Eagle files to KiCAD.

Thank you,
Ishan
